Firstly I have a confession to make, as much as I'd love this amazing handbag to be mine it's not (yet). I went to London with my aunty for a little wander and some lunch and I couldn't help but nick her bag and include it in some outfit pictures. I'm not going to lie I felt very 'city' with it, if 'city' can be used to describe one's look. This American Apparel crop top has literally been one of my favourites of the month and if I were to do my August favourites it would surely be included. Besides the fact it reminds me of a grey version of something that would be found in the ballet kit of my four year old self, this top has been the perfect piece to throw on for an effortless look. Paired with white jeans and heels, it creates the perfect drinks outfit, and with ripped jeans, trainers and a bomber it gives a way more casual look. I just love it! Oh and sorry for the little sunglasses switch-a-roo, blame my indecisive self!

HOORAY FOR NO TIGHTS

Hooray to the first of many tightless outfits! With the weather really picking up I decided to pass on my trusty Primark 40 denier tights and go bare legged. This dress as actually one of my favourite items to wear as a top, is extremely snug, with a low back and stripes go with almost everything! Although with it hitting up to 20 degrees I probably won't even be wearing long sleeves for much longer! I chucked on a skater dress and flung my leather jacket around my waist when it started to heat up, it also doubled up as way of making sure my skater skirt didn't go flying about in the wind.

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE (for the mean time) and that means less layers! I do have to admit Spring is my least favourite season, I know, crazy, but let me explain. It's a it too warm to wear turtlenecks without being looked at funny (and I do love a good turtleneck), if you wear all black in spring you are bound to look grumpy besides the rest of the population sporting head to toe pastel and it's that awkward season in between shorts and scarves. But at the moment I am loving it! The weather is sooo nice and I can actually just wear a leather jacket without feeling like I am going to catch pneumonia! This is probably going to end up being one of my go-to spring outfits and it'll be so easy to switch up, you could swap the mom jeans for boyfriend jeans or white ones and the black leather jacket for a pastel colour to make a totally different outfit!

OH KHAKI DAYS

Khaki has been a colour that has surprisingly been extremly on trend at the moment, even though it doesn't seem like the most obvious colour for spring I love it as a laid-back alternative to black. Boiler suits have also been a huge trend and this item is a great combination of both. As well as it being so easy to throw on and dress up or down it is probably one of the best bargains I've managed to find this year, costing only a fiver (moment of silence for Primark please- you the real MVP). I love that it can be worn loosely or fitted and D-Rings are on of my favourite things at the moment, they give an item such a nice bit of detail, even thought they are so small! Oh and I know what you're thinking, "how did she come up with such a fab title?" What can I say? I'm talented.

LOST IN DRAFTS #2

This was one of those 'thrown-on-to-go-shopping' (yes that's a thing) from a few weeks ago that I just happened to photograph. I uploaded the pictures to Blogger and I have just stumbled upon them while sitting in my drafts while attempting to clear them a bit, this probably got neglected because it is a pretty basic outfit or I'm just a shocking blogger, take your pick.

I opted for all black minus the trainers, which are the commmmmmmmmmmmmmmfiest pair I have owned, plus they were only £40 in last years Boxing Day sales. This was also around the time I was playing around with my faux septum, which I wrote a post on, but I have decided to store it away until the warmer months when all the body jewellery really does come out. Oh and did anyone actually manage to see the solar eclipse yesterday, the rubbish weather (namely the clouds) meant I could only gaze upon it from my sfofa on Sky news.

CASUAL VALENTINE'S DAY LOOK

In the midst of all the Valentine's posts, which I'm actually quite enjoying reading atm, and although I have 0 plans for Saturday- here is a little outfit post. Due to the pink coat and th blush jumper I could easily pass this of as meaning to be a Valentine's Day outfit, even though that wasn't my intention. I probably will end up wearing this (or a variation of this, as the weather at the moment is pretty unforgiving) on Saturday as my plans are not actually in the evening but in the morning. Backtracking to the beginning of the post "I have 0 plans for Saturday" was a lie. I'm going to Bill's for brunch, which I'm WAYYYY to excited for, their breakfast looks amazing and if it's any comparison to their normal menu I know I'm going to love it. Oh and anyone else think I look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa in some of these photos? How amusing.

Am I the only one that used to wear these shoes in year 4 PE?  Blast from the past! White trainers, d-rings and fur have all be greatly appreciated this season, especially by me. This jumpsuit was a Primark Tottenham Court Road gem, I love the androgynous feel and awkward length (or maybe that's just me being annoyingly tall), paired with the trainers it gives a very relaxed feel. This piece could also be dressed up with a furry clutch, lace up heels, bold lip and probably the same leather jacket, it's so versatile.

THE BLUE STRIPE

Excuse the grumpy expression, trust me I wasn't as angry as I look, if anything I was happy, I managed to pick up some ridciulous bargains at Primark Tottenham Court Road, whenever I go there it makes me ultra sad that my local Primark is just rubbish (keeping it PG 13) and although I only live 25 minutes from London a train ticket is £19 which unfortunatley means I cannot pop off to London every day I want to go to Primark. Almost all of this outfit (minus the shirt) I've picked up recently in sales. The trousers were £10!!! I feel like a bad blogger because I never got round to doing a haul, amd now I've started wearing the items (sorry I couldn't help myself) it's a bit too late, I don't know, maybe I'll consider doing a quick haul sometime soon.

GO-TO OUTFIT & UNWANTED WIND

The wind was really trying to kill my vibe and ruin my outfit pictures, I felt as though it would be a few seconds until I'd be holding onto a lamp post for dear life. I don't know whether I was being pedantic but my hair blowing about in the pictures was really bugging me. Don't get me wrong, wanting to post the best quality content is not a bad thing, but I think a lot of the we compare ourselves too much, to people who have professional photographers or blog as a full time job. And as they say 'comparison is the thief of joy'.  So here you are, one of my go-to outfits featuring my hair flying in ten different directions and a very awkward half smile.

Even though I am wearing a suit, I wouldn't exactly say I am 'suited' per se, recently I have been leaning towards wearing tailored trousers over jeans, and being my usual self I ended up making it extra casual with a baggy white cami, checked scarf and some converse, obviously comfort took precedence. It's so weird because when I look at what I wear I either dress extremely girly or extremely androgynously (do I need 'ly'? that does not sound at all right), I guess I don't like middle ground, go hard or go home as they say lool. I'd also like to point out that my top is technically not a top, thank goodness that whole underwear as outerwear thing was/is a trend because this is a random pyjama cami.
