OOTD | Just Like Candy

coat: topshop/ jumper: new look/ white lace dress: matalan/ heels: new look/ fur headband: primark (similar)

Hi guys! Hope you are having a nice weekend! Today is probably one of the only days EVER that I have worn heels in the day, out and about. A lot of the time I do pick comfort over what actually looks good but I am training my feet for LFW-end because I am planning to wear heels. In foresight I don't know if that's the best idea but comfort will not be the deciding factor that day. Today I decided to wear this pretty lace dress that I got ageeeees ago (it's like age 13 lool) and just layer the jumper over it because day-ummm it's cold. Finally I threw on one of my favourite coats. It's reminds me of candy floss (cotton candy for all you Americans), hence the title.

Thank you for reading, hope you guys have a good week (last one before half term woo) and follow me on bloglovin'!

NO MAKEUP, MAKEUP LOOK

When it comes to my makeup I tend to never keep it simple, I find myself sporting a smoky eye almost all the time along with an overdramatic wing, it has become the norm- so doing this makeup look is totally different. Some of you may think that this isn't really a 'no makeup' look but for me it really is. It managed to cut a good fifteen minutes off my normal routine, so guess who's a happy bunny (me)! Although I am quite fond of this simple and quick look I can't help but feel a bit empty without my winged liner and/or bright lip... So I caved and added a red lip, which changes the look, if simple just isn't your thing. Please excuse the fact that I obviously do not know what a hair brush is, I look like some kind of cave girl loool.

Products Used
Wilko Lib Balm (lol)

So that's my 'no makeup, makeup look'. Can you see yourself with this simple look? What's your go-to look at the moment? Leave a comment below and follow me on bloglovin' if you enjoyed this!

WHAT'S ON MY iPHONE

So today I decided to do a post about what's on my iPhone (as you can probably tell from the title) I love my phone and I love apps so I decided to share them with you! I have an iPhone 4 that slowly dying, with a faulty lock button and multiple cracks my phone it isn't in the best condition, undeniably because I drop it 238478735875583 times daily. I have a few cases but nothing beats a 'naked' iPhone in my opinion.

The Mains
1. Lock Screen: My lock screen is of the amazing Justin Bieber. I have become quite lazy when it comes to changing my lock screen but 99% of the time it's a picture of Bieber (sorry not sorry).
2. Photos: When it comes to organising my photos I am so bad. I have so many pictures that need to be deleted that are unfortunately taking up a large percentage of the memory on my phone.
3. Music: Listening to music is probably one of the things I do the most on my phone. I only have 100 songs on my phone (the ones I listen to the most) with the other 1000 or so on my iPod. I do this because my phone is only 8GB, I don't know how I manage lol (let's take a moment for the Drake appreciation screenshot).

Most Used

4. Twitter: I go through phrases of being addicted to twitter and then not going on it at all, I don't even know why. But I will always love twitter, oh and Justin Bieber has tweeted me and follows me so no matter how sick I get of it this account will never be deleted.
5. Snapchat: Snapchat takes up waaaaaay to much of my time, the number of repulsive mugshots that have been sent to people is simple uncountable. I just checked and I have sent over 7,000 snaps, I don't whether that's bad or not?
6. Instagram: What can I say about Instagram, ohhh Instagram. I'm sure you all have it (unless your aimee loser braggs) and understand how loveable it is. I just love scrolling through my feed (or whatever it's called) and seeing what people have uploaded, I love  it!

B(V)logging Essentials

7. Bloglovin': One of the first things I do in the morning is open the bloglovin' app and read any new blog posts from my favourite bloggers! The bloglovin' app is great for always being able to read your favourite bloggers post's.
8. YouTube: The YouTube app is one of my favourites, when I'm out and about I just plug in my earphones and watch any new videos that have popped into 'My Subscriptions'. It also allows you to continue watching a video while searching for one, so handy!
9. Blogger: If you don't have the blogger app already why not?! (Well if your blog is on wordpress then I guess that's a valid reason.) It's not exactly the best app but it can be useful for jotting down post ideas and checking comments.

Instagram Editors

10. Snapseed: This is one of the main apps I use to edit my insta pictures. It has so many features that allows you to edit a picture into all sorts. I mainly only use it for the things in the screenshot but this is just a few of the things you can do with it.
11. Squaready: Squaready is a must when it comes to editing my pictures. It creates a white border around the picture stopping instagram from cropping your lovely picture into an awkward square.
12. Montage Lite: This is the free version of the app montage. I use it to make collages as it allows you to add endless amount of pictures and organise them into a collage. You can also adjust the transparency of the pictures.

Games

13. Flow Free: I'm surprised I haven't deleted this is app, I haven't opened it in like months. It's basically a glorified dot the dots.
14. Flappy Bird: Riiiiiiiight. Where do I start with this one? If you haven't heard of Flappy Bird yet the you are: a) very very fricking lucky you haven't been SUCKED IN and b) obviously living in a cave. This game takes addiction to the next level, forget Candy Crush, Temple Run and all those amateurs this is real addiction. Please be warned this game may give you anger management problems too.
15. Candy Crush Saga: After being stuck on level 86 since last year I have officially given up on Candy Crush but I cannot bring myself to delete the app along with all my hard work.

Shopping

16. VoucherCloud: This app is great for getting discounts, especially in restaurants! It's so easy; just show it on your phone where ever you are planning to use it and BAM discount, just like that!
17. Depop: Depop became very popular a few months ago which is when I go the app. It is like a mash up of Instagram and eBay where people can sell their items. It's great if you are having a clear out and can't be bothered to put stuff on eBay, you can also swap clothes too. But be careful of scammers when buying and always ask for proof of postage!
18: eBay: I cannot explain how much I love eBay, I just love it. Which is why having the app is 100% necssary. Whether it's 20 falsies for 99p or a phone case for 99p or even that item of clothing that's sold out, eBay has it.

The Leftovers

19. Facebook: I really try and avoid opening this app at all costs. It is soooo slow, I really only use Facebook to message certain people and that's about it.
20. WhatsApp: This is also an app I rarely open unless someone asks me if I have WhatsApp. The people I talk to daily all have iPhones so I only really use iMessage.
21. Onavo Count: Last and to be honest probably least is Onavo Count. This app claims to control and minimize the amount of memory an app takes up on your device.

So there's all my apps, they were all free because I can't actually download paid apps but they are all still good. Oh and my menu button has a sticker on it btw, from New Look, it was given to me by the lovely Maddie.

What are your favourite apps? Leave a comment below and please follow me on bloglovin'. Thanks for reading!

LUST LIST | Nars Needs

I'm just going to address the alliteration central that is the title, when I say needs just know I really mean wants (but that would have ruined the alliteration). I am really trying to curb my spending- my account balance is probably not in the best shape at the moment *tear* but that doesn't stop me from wanting everything!

Most, if not all of these wants are blogger fuelled and I just picked a few out of the endless things I want from Nars (although there a three things that I definitely need to purchase soon!). Whenever I walk past a Nars counter I always stop and internally weep because I can't have everything.

The main Nars products that I reeeeeally want are their Lip Pencils and although they are £17.50 each I think they would be a really good investment.

The second one I have seen being featured on numerous blogposts over the past few weeks is the NARSissist eyeshadow palette, this palette has 15 perfect shades and I can definitely see myself using the darker shades in the palette almost everyday. Although parting with £50 for eyeshadows will be extremely difficult for me

The last product that I really want is the Nars Sheer Glow foundation, the first person that I saw really rave about this is Sammi from Beauty Crush and after that I saw a lot of people rave about it.

What Nars products do you recommend or would like to try? Thanks for reading and please follow me!

INSPIRATION | Bedrooms

 white out

 alternative storage

 organisation is key

 shelves- not just for books

 photo walls

clothing rack- for favourite items & overflowing wardrobes
photos obtained from Tumblr

Zoella's new 'home stuff' haul definitely gave me some interior inspiration and got me dreaming about my dream room, so I decided to share some ideas with you! I think when it comes to rooms, storage is key and can definitely change the whole aesthetic of a room. Quirky pieces and individual touches can make your room a lot more personal. Zoella's video made me so excited to have my own place, considering I'm 16 I probably have quite some time to wait.

What is your favourite place to go when shopping for your room? Which one of the rooms above do you like the most? Feel free to leave a comment below and please follow me!

FIRST IMPRESSION | L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara

Recently I've been seeing L'Oreal's new 'Miss Manga' mascara advertised absolutely everywhere, all the time. This is normally one of the busiest times in this season for new beauty releases and this year has been no exception. Although I feel bombarded with new releases almost everyday this one really stuck out to me and I'm always on the hunt for a new mascara.

Miss manga aims to give you big manga eyes and lashes and I mean who doesn't want eyes like a little anime girl. I certainly do.
Aside from Jupiter sized cartoon eyes L'Oreal claims:
Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara creates mega volume on top and bottom so eyes look more open. Our exclusive formula, made up of enlarging collagen spheres works perfectly in conjunction with the 360° flexible cone shaped brush to amplify upper lashes and reveal lower lashes. The exclusive formula also contains a trilogy of polymers for absolute hold and staying power.
So I really do love this mascara but before I go into why I do I'll say the things I'm not so keen on.

First and foremost this mascara advertises 'mega volume' and that is the one thing it doesn't do. It gives amazing length but not volume. The one other thing I don't think is needed is the flexible ended brush, I would have preferred if it wasn't flexible(just a normal brush) so it could get a better grip of the lashes.

Now I've got those out of the way I really love this mascara. It's a bristled brush which I prefer to plastic ones. It's quite small and tapers in at the end. The small tapered end makes it SO good for bottom lashes. I literally have no bottom lashes and this does wonders. It gives loads of length but if you want volume you would probably have to do quite a few coats or layer another one on top.

Overall this is great for length and bottom lashes and for £8.99 but if you already have a mascara you love then this probably isn't worth the purchase.

What is your favourite mascara? Have you tried Miss Manga? Thanks so much for reading and please follow!

OOTD | What is Colour?

Everything minus boots: Primark/ Boots: New Look

The title probably indicated that this would be another pretty dull (colour-wise) 'all black everything' outfit. So yeah sorry about that if you hate black, but no one hates black so moving swiftly on. This skort was only purchased about a week ago and has already been so handy! It's pretty short so at first I was only wearing knee highs but quickly went to put tights on too after realised how ridiculous the wind was (rubbish British weather). When I was about to do the links for this post I realised that basically all my whole outfit is from Primark (how bad ahha), my top, jacket, skort and knee highs. I promise you guys no more all black LOL who am I kidding?
