Recently I've been seeing L'Oreal's new 'Miss Manga' mascara advertised absolutely everywhere, all the time. This is normally one of the busiest times in this season for new beauty releases and this year has been no exception. Although I feel bombarded with new releases almost everyday this one really stuck out to me and I'm always on the hunt for a new mascara.
Miss manga aims to give you big manga eyes and lashes and I mean who doesn't want eyes like a little anime girl. I certainly do.
Aside from Jupiter sized cartoon eyes L'Oreal claims:
Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara creates mega volume on top and bottom so eyes look more open. Our exclusive formula, made up of enlarging collagen spheres works perfectly in conjunction with the 360° flexible cone shaped brush to amplify upper lashes and reveal lower lashes. The exclusive formula also contains a trilogy of polymers for absolute hold and staying power.
So I really do love this mascara but before I go into why I do I'll say the things I'm not so keen on.
First and foremost this mascara advertises 'mega volume' and that is the one thing it doesn't do. It gives amazing length but not volume. The one other thing I don't think is needed is the flexible ended brush, I would have preferred if it wasn't flexible(just a normal brush) so it could get a better grip of the lashes.
Now I've got those out of the way I really love this mascara. It's a bristled brush which I prefer to plastic ones. It's quite small and tapers in at the end. The small tapered end makes it SO good for bottom lashes. I literally have no bottom lashes and this does wonders. It gives loads of length but if you want volume you would probably have to do quite a few coats or layer another one on top.
Overall this is great for length and bottom lashes and for £8.99 but if you already have a mascara you love then this probably isn't worth the purchase.
What is your favourite mascara? Have you tried Miss Manga? Thanks so much for reading and please follow!
