YAY LIEBSTER AWARD

OH MY GOD so basically my day was TOTALLY made today when I found out I had a double nomination for the Liebster award from the lovely Millie and Alex whose blogs are amazing. Thanks so much guys! The Liebster Award is an award where bloggers can nominate some of their favourite blogs that have less than 200 followers. Liebster means dearest in German (cos i'm just so dear ;) aww, ahha jk).

The Rules:
Choose some bloggers to nominate who have less than 200 followers
Answer the questions given to you
Let people who you have nominated know you have
Create 11 questions for the people you have nominated

So I got nominated twice but if I answered both sets of questions that would be 22 and a pretty long post that no one would read lol. So i'm going to do what Millie did and answer a mixture of both of the questions so this blog post doesn't turn into a book.

Bloggers Questions To Me

1. What made you start blogging? (Millie)
Well I've always been into beauty and fashion, well not always it probably started from me watching a video of Zoella on YouTube. Then subscribing to a number of YouTubers and then going from watching vlogs to reading blogs. In Year 11 I really wanted to start a YouTube channel but I'm not that confident so blogging is perfect. I love it.

2.Who's your favourite style icon? Why? (Alex)
I actually recently did a blog post on this what a coincidence! But definitely Kylie Jenner I explain in the post why but mainly because I find that I would wear most of the things she does and because she is my age her fashion is like relatable (as relatable as you can be with someone who's bigger sister is Kim Kardashian)

3. Which high street store is you favourite? (Millie)
I have quite a few. H&M, Primark and Topshop mainly. I had to include Primark because I consistently rely on Primark for a good dupe and always seem to find something in there. When I go into Topshop I just want everything and H&M is just one of my go-to stores.

4. What's your favourite trend? (Alex)
Monochrome, monochrome, monochrome. I do love lots of other trends (sports luxe, pastels, crops) but I just love the simplicity of wearing black and white, or just black if your me. It suits any style and is so easy to wear.

5. Best purchase of the month? (Mille)
My best purchase was definitely this lingerie style dress from Zara. These type of dresses were everywhere at the end of last year but I never got round to getting one (and some of them were over £50) but when I was looking through the Zara sale I saw this one for £10 like how could I not?

6. What's your favourite magazine? (Alex)
Company! I have a stash of them in my room.

7. What's your favourite film? (Millie)
I think it's Wolf of Wall Street like I just love that film so much, I saw it a few weeks ago and couldn't stop telling everyone to watch it! And ohhhhhh my how can you not love Leo.
*speeeeeeechless*

8. Who's your favourite celebrity? (Alex)
I get a lot of stick for this but I don't even care Justin (Bieber). Seen him five times but I just need to meet him :(..

9. Which country is would you like to live in the most? Why? (Millie)
America. California to be specific (Calabases to be even more specific). It looks so amazing and a lot of celebrity hunting would be necessary.

10. What's one thing you want to achieve in the next year? (Alex)
Hopefully more people will discover my blog (that would be fab) and to do well in my AS's.

11. What's your favourite colour? (Millie and Alex)
BLACK.

My Nominees:

My Questions:

1.What is your favourite thing about blogging?
2. What is your least favourite thing about blogging?
3. Summer or Winter clothes?
4. High end or drugstore makeup?
5. What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?
6. What was the best present you ever recieved?
7. Who are your top three bloggers?
8. What is your favourite TV show?
9. What do you want to be doing in five years time?
10. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
11. Online shopping or instore shopping?

Thanks so much to the girls who nominated me! And make sure to follow me on bloglovin'!

STYLE ICON | Kylie Jenner

This little (not that little) Kardashian Jenner is seriously competing against her older sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney (oh and Kendall) when it comes to fashion. She is always seen out with her beloved sister Kendall but when it come to deciding between the two Kylie is definitely my style crush. This is definitely a bitter sweet post to write as I find it hard to comprehend that Kylie and I are the same age (she's actually three months younger than me) and still so gorgeous, also I seriously want her wardrobe (green eyed monster typing this post guys). I think my obsession with her probably started, and rapidly grew from following her on Instagram and I soon noticed that I love almost all her outfits.

MAC MORANGE

The other day I rediscovered this lipstick that has been in hibernation amongst all my other 'summery' lipstick shades and remembered how gorgeous it was. I went through a phase for about 10 years (bear in mind I'm only 16) where I hated orange I just couldn't stand anything orange and would never dare to wear it, all of a sudden I don't even know what changed I started loving it! Ok that was so irrelevant loool.

I'm just going to start by saying MAC's Morange definitely isn't for the faint hearted. Morange is the perfect orange lipstick and with its red undertones it's not too crazy and is extremely wearable. In the pictures it kind of doesn't represent the true shade as I found it hard to capture. It is an 'amplified creme' formula so is super pigmented, with a creamy consistency that is easy to apply. It also stays on the lips for ages. Although I love this lipstick I think it looks even more gorgeous on lighter skin tones as the lipstick stands out that bit more. But I still can't wait until summer so I can dig this out again!

What are your favourite orange lipsticks? Or is orange a no go area? If you enjoyed this please follow me! Thanks.

CURRENT PERFUME | Nina By Nina Ricci

I don't really own too many perfumes, most of the ones I do own were either given to me or I nicked off my mum. I think I prefer body spray (like VS's), I can spray as much as I want without feeling guilty because they are so cheap and I am never worried that they are going to run out because of how quickly they can be repurchased. Also plastic bottles are a lot easier to carry round in your bag.

My mum picked this up for me a few days ago and I had obviously heard of it as it is a very popular fragrance. I loved the packaging immediately, the simple white box with the signature apple in front and the initials 'NR' at the top. It is 50ml (don't know if that's good or bad) and has the cutest apple shaped bottle with engraved silver leaves that say Nina Ricci (it will decorate my room nicely). Like I have said before I am probably as bad as it gets when it comes to describing scents but this smells absolutely lush! It has a very sweet smell with a combination of floral undertones and I literally can't stop sniffing myself (did I just say that?). Nina is definitely going to be one of my favourite scents.

HAUL | Bath & Body Works

I am sooo excited to do this haul. I you're American then you're probably wondering what's so amazing about three candles and a few hand sanitisers, even if you're not American you'll probably be wondering that too. But here in the UK we do not have Bath & Body Works, tbh there are a lot of things that we don't have here in the UK. Anyway the other day my uncle brought all of these things totally out of nowhere and I realised that I really am not taking advantage of the fact that he works as part of the BA cabin crew and goes to American all the time!

These three candles are absolutely massive they have three wicks and are probably going to take hours to burn (apparently 25-45 hours). Oh and they smell absolutely divine with: cinnamon caramel swirl, which I started burning today and literally the smell travelled so far, my room smells amazing, harvest coffee, that smells like a lovely cup of coffee and espresso bar, that has a really rich lovely smell with a slight vanilla hint, (it's times like these where you need smell-o-vision) I apologise that I am rubbish at describing scents.

These mini hand sanitisers have such cute packaging and smell absolutely amazing. I've never seen any scents like these in England we just get stuck with the generic cucumber, aloe vera etc. The scents I have are Vanilla Bean Noel, Sweet Clementine, Sugared Vanilla Wish and Iced Gingerbread. My favourite one is Sweet Clementine because I'm a sucker for fruity scents but the others smell so nice and sweet too, they are the perfect size to fit in your pocket or bag and leave your hands smelling amazing!

What other Bath and Body Works products should I try? Which ones do you want to? Thanks for reading and please follow!

PHOTO DIARY #1 | Covent Garden

I just got back from Covent Garden and decided to post some of the pictures in a photo diary. Six of us went for a birthday meal to Maxwell's, which was sooooo tasty. I'm so annoyed the pictures of my meal just disappeared off of my camera but I had this rather large and daunting traditional American style burger. Maxwell's was definitley worth it considering it costs me £9.50 (even when I'm pretending to be 15, off-peak) to get into London.

HAUL | Topshop, H&M, Primark, New Look

Yaaaaaay today has been the first time I have been proper clothes shopping since Boxing Day (don't even know how I managed) definitley needed a spending ban after those sales. Today was Aimee's birthday *HAPPY BIRTHDAY* and some of us decided to go shopping. Here are some things I picked up.

TOPSHOP
Mom Jeans- £25
I've been wanting Mom Jeans for ageeeees now, and I wanted them even more when I saw my friend Maddie wearing them the other week. They looked so good. When I saw these in the sale I knew I had to get them, they were £22.50 with my student discount and that is amazing considering they used to be £40.

H&M
Sheer Floral Blouse- £12.99

'Whatever' Sheer Jumper- £5.99
There seems to be a theme here didn't even realise these were both sheer ahha. I love love love the sheer floral blouse, I found it the second time I went into H&M. I think it would look so nice with a black bralette or bandeau and a black skort!

Secondly was this graphic sheer jumper. I've never seen a sheer jumper and thought it was so cool. For £6 it's an absolute bargain.

PRIMARK
Black Shearling Jacket- £10
Perforated Baseball Top- £6
Black Skort- £10
Sorry about the quality for the last one, it refused to focus. The first item (the shearling jacket) was on clearance and was only a tenner! I've needed (I use the word need in the loosest sense possible) a casual jacket that isn't a coat and isn't too oversized. This is sooo warm and can't wait to wear it.

I remember seeing someone on YouTube wearing this baseball top and I loved it so when I saw this in store I had to pick it up, I love the sports luxe look as it's so easy to wear.

I really can't believe I have only just purchased this skort. I guess I've never really got round to it when they were in Zara, sometimes I rely on Primark too much for a dupe ahha. Next on the wishlist, a white one.

NEW LOOK

One thing I am not afraid to title myself is ULTIMATE bargain hunter. No, I did not make a mistake with the price these were both FIVE POUNDS. The pictures really don't do it justice and when I say I was SO lucky to get them at this price I really was. On the website the boots are still full price (£35) and the heels £11. The heels look absolutely gorgeous on and are sooooo comfy, definitely my number 1 buy today.

So that's it! Thanks so much for reading and please follow me if you enjoyed this!

SWEATER WEATHER TAG

Hey guys, I really wanted to do a tag so decided to do the sweater tag, I am a few months late but it is definitely sweater (coat, hat, gloves, scarf and boots) weather in England at the moment, if your wondering who tagged me I tagged myself (lool larry). God it's so weird saying sweater I feel so American, literally sitting here saying sweater in a rubbish American accent.

1) Favourite candle scent?
I am probably the only blogger who isn't a candle junkie. I love candles don't get me wrong (as long as they don't smell like toilet loool *private joke- shoutout to Shriya and Emma*) but I'm not that picky and I won't spend ridiculous amounts on one. I love most scents.

2)Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
HOT CHOCOLATE ANY DAY! You can probably tell from the picture above but I love hot chocolate. I love tea too but I have too much of a sweet tooth. Oh and I hate coffee (even though I used to work in Costa) it tastes horrible but smells nice. When I say I worked at Costa I only lasted 3 weeks not sure if that counts.

3)Do you switch your make-up routine for the season?
Hmmm not really, The only thing I really do is wear darker shades of lipstick and eyeshadows.

4)Hats or Scarves?
Scarves, I love my tartan scarf and I hate hat hair.
.....
Actually come to think about it may be hats, I love beanies. Scarves for school, hats probably other times.

5)Most worn sweater?
My trusted black mohair jumper from Primark. I literally can't wear it to school without like two other people wearing the same jumper as me, I am pretty sure like everyone in this country has a mohair jumper. They are necessary.

6)Must-Have fall nail varnish?
I don't have a specific one. Heck I don't even have a specific shade. I can go from black to white to burgundy to like neon yellow.

7) Football games or jumping in pile of leaves?
Football games? Are you kidding? I'd rather roll around in dirt than play football games.

8)Skinny jeans?
Skinny jeans and I have a very loving relationship. I live in them! I don't have any other types of jeans in my wardrobe but I do need to get some Mom ones.

9)Boots or Uggs?
Boots, boots, boots, boots and boots. Everyone loves boots and they look amazing with anything.

10) What is your #1 favourite thing about fall?
Lol this shows I am obviously doing this tag a bit late. Urmm nothing really, just staying in and watching movies.

Which reminds me YOU ALL NEED TO SEE WOLF OF WALL STREET. No exaggeration when I say it's one of the top three films I've seen. EVER. Like the caps don't even express how much you need to see it, you just HAVE to see it. I was contemplating doing a whole post on it like that's how amazing it is. Leonardo DiCaprio is just AMAZING and it's so crazy, WATCH IT, WATCH IT, WATCH IT. (Had to watch it online cos not 18, boooo)

11) Do you have a song that you're loving at the moment?
The song I've been loving for the past 3 months. Literally, is All That Matters. Like this song has been STUCK in my head for weeks and weeks and I'm not complaining.

12) What is the weather like where you currently live?
Cold, but not that cold. It's been a pretty mild winter in England so far I'm thinking the worst (snow) is probably yet to come.

Hope you found that remotely interesting and I tag all of you to do it! Please follow me onbloglovin' and thanks for reading!

QUICK, LONG-LASTING RED LIP

--------------------------Rimmel Apocalips- 400 Big Bang / Seventeen Stay Pout- Date Night-----------------------

Before I start can I just apologise: 1. for my awful lipstick application, 2. for my not-so well kept Stay Pout lipstick and 3. my very forced smile. Aside from that I am one of those people that likes to wear a bright lipstick quite often, regardless of the 'occasion'. Yesterday I had this red lip and when I got home at around 3.57 (precise), well I don't actually know if it was that time I just made that up, but it was just before 4 so it could have been. ANYWAY I got home and I walked past the mirror and my lipstick was still presentable and had barely faded. I kid you not since 8 in the morning.

Now maybe I'm just getting excited for nothing and all my lipsticks are rubbish but none of mine ever last that long without two, three or four top ups, especially when it's matte. So I thought this revelation was post worthy, considering the sum of these products are under £10 and it took literally no time.

I know there are other ways to make your lipstick last long (lip liner, this stuff and probably some other weird ways) but I just don't have time for lip liner in the morning, my routine is a ridiculous rush. When I did this lip all I did was moisturise my lips, apply Date Night and then Apocalips, after Apocalips dried I went over with Date Night and voilĂ , a quick, long-lasting red lip. I really hope this wasn't some one-off fluke yeah urrrm that would be awkward.

Hope you enjoyed this! If you did please follow! Do you have any tips for long-lasting lip colour or any lipsticks that last all day?
