THE LAZY GIRL'S GUIDE TO LOOKING PRESENTABLE

 shawl: matalan (similar)
turtleneck: eBay
trousers & hat: h&m
boots: new look
sunglasses: primark (similar)

I've literally been sitting here for five minutes trying to figure out how to phrase the title in the least amount of words. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks sometimes it takes too much effort to look put together, effort you don't have. If I am the only one, well that's awkward but regardless here are some tips for looking like you spent more than 30 seconds picking out what you were going to where.

A SIMPLE BASE is always to put together, and will take a few seconds to choose. Your favourite jeans or trousers and a baggy tee, vest top, or like me a turtleneck. I always lean towards black, as it's such an effortless colour, and flatters anyone.
OUTERWEAR is your best friend, and will probably be what makes the outfit look a lot dressier than it is. Here the shawl is covering most of my oufit so it doesn't really matter what I'm wearing underneath, hence the simple black. A maxi coat, camel coat or even a leather jacket will make your lazy effort look like so much more.
ACCESSORISE, minimally though, remember we're lazy! Items like sunglasses just make such a difference,  also if you can't be bothered to do your make-up they are great for hiding behind, just put on some lipstick and no-one will know. Oh and it doesn't matter if it snowing and there is no sun, embody Victoria Beckham for the day. This fedora is so easy to throw on, I wear it so much because it just has the ability to make every outfit look more dressy.
HEIGHT, HEIGHT, HEIGHT. This is probably the most obvious thing when it comes to making an outfit look dressier than it is but heels are a simple way to look far more presentable. I'm not talking 7 inch platform heels because ain't nobody got time for that but a show with a tiny bit of height or a heeled boot will make all the difference.

What is your go-to outfit when you can't be bothered and which one of these tips do you think could help you the most, let me know below and make sure to follow!
